This Privacy Policy describes how PAYTRONIX FINTECH PRIVATE LIMITED ("Company", "we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the FlowPe mobile application ("App").
1. Information We Collect
When you use FlowPe, we may collect:
- Phone Number: required for login via OTP.
- Expense Data: expenses, categories, accounts, and notes you log in the App.
- Device Information: device type, operating system, and basic technical logs.
- Usage Data: interactions within the App (for analytics and improvements).
We do NOT collect email addresses or other personal identifiers by default.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Authenticate users via OTP login.
- Store and display your expenses, categories and accounts.
- Provide expense analytics and insights.
- Maintain and improve the functionality and security of the App.
3. Data Deletion
You can delete individual expenses, categories and accounts directly within the App. Currently, there is no in-app option to delete your entire profile. If you wish to request profile deletion, please contact us at contact@flowpe.in. We will respond to your request and remove associated personal data within a reasonable timeframe.
4. Data Sharing and Selling
At present, we do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to any third party. We may use cloud hosting (e.g., AWS) to securely store and process your data. If required by law, we may disclose information to comply with legal obligations.
Future changes: If we ever plan to sell or share personal data in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and notify users before such changes take effect.
5. Data Retention
Your expense, category and account data are retained until you choose to delete them. If profile deletion is requested (via support), associated personal data will be removed from our systems within a reasonable timeframe.
6. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including secure servers and encrypted communication. However, no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.
7. Children’s Privacy
FlowPe is not intended for children under 18 (or under the minimum age of consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Effective Date." If significant changes are made (such as new data-sharing practices), we will notify users before they take effect.
